I am happy to announce that I have just purchased the mold of the 14' Kennedy van with the intention of starting to make them again. Not full production as such, but at least a weather tight shell on a new chassis. not sure about dates and costs etc. But happy to have rescued it and to see them coming back in the long term. Would like to get in touch with other Kennedy owners for discussion purposes and ideas. Also when is the club going to be down in Queenscliff again. Mark.

This type of concept sounds interesting, able to make your own interior with the Vintage look, as they are almost unavailable to buy used. Is there an area on this forum where that style would fit?

Hi guys, Im new to this page and Im unsure of how it all works. However I just wanted to share a photo of our baby. This is Galaxie Belle, she is a 1960's Kennedy Wayfarer ( affectionately refereed to as a 'finny"), being towed by our 1962 Ford Galaxie. We live on the Mornington Peninsula in Victoria and this photo was taken while touring around Tasmania several years ago. Below is a link to a new Facebook page that I have just started, I would love to see you all join for group chats and photos shares www.facebook.com/Vintage-Kennedy-Caravans-245560009145605/

Hi Prechty, Welcome to the forum. It's great to have you on board. I have been an admirer of your 'finned' Kennedy since i first saw it at the Cora Lynn car show quite a few years ago. As you are probably aware, there is quite a bit of mystery around the finned Kennedys as to when and why they were built. Because there are so few of them around, and only a couple in even reasonable condition, I'm sure forum members would love to see some photos of your van - particularly the inside. (Not everybody on the forum is able to use Facebook.) To post photos on the forum you need to do it via an online photo storage website such as Photobucket or Flickr. You can't use the 'Add Attachment' button unfortunately because it doesn't function on our forum. I think that's how you probably tried to post photos earlier today? I see that you have set yourself up an avatar, so it looks as if you've got some photos uploaded to Photobucket or similar and therefore are at the point where you could put lsome photos in your post. In any case, if you need them, there are instructions on how to post photos from Photobucket, etc, in the 'Forum Guidelines & Helpful Hints' section of the forum. Once you've posted photos once or twice it's easy as falling off a log. The other thing I was going to point you towards is the Kennedy thread in the Down History Lane section of the forum - click here. There are actually some photos of your van on that thread that I took at Cora Lynn, but none of the inside. Don Ricardo
