Excellent effort Stephen&Julie. It's great to see one of these rare pre-fibreglass Olympics rescued. The styling is so late 50's/early 60's reflecting the angular 'space age' design cues also followed by Carapark, Adventurer and Clipper for some of their models around the same time. As you say, it is amazing that the van took relatively little work to get it mobile. But equally amazing that it looks so incredibly good after a bit of a wash. Did we work out what Ford the rear lights are off? Don Ricardo

Well you just cant explain how an old van thats been sitting in the paddock for ages can be resurrected and travel over 1000ks with minimal effort, just shows how well they made some vans Cheers S&J

please send me a pm and let me know your mail address and I will mail you a copy of the decal and you can decide whatever you do with it. I am going to get mine done in a larger size so that it can be read easy as they are only about 3 x 2 inches from new. I got biggger ones made about 5 x 4 and they are in good condition with good detail. The originals were printed on sticky aluminium type foil.
