Hi all,
I have been approached by one of the organisers of this event John who would love to get as many vintage vans to this event as he can.
This event attracts lots of classic cars, hot rods, trucks and motorcycles.
At last years event Paul and Yoko created a lot of interest with their van and John would like to set aside an area for us this year (the more the merrier).
We can set up on Saturday and stay overnight if we wish or arrive on Sunday for the event.
It is a dog friendly event and the club will be open on Saturday night for meals and refreshment if required.
The venue is The Tom O'Conner Recreation Reserve 4th Ave Burringbar.
Unfortunately there won't be any power available.
Let me know if you are interested or you can talk to John direct on 0266771115
Hope to see you there.
Terry and Vicki

Hi All Well what well organised w/e we had and enjoyed. One of the best venues we have had, toilets/showers, bar and restaurant about 50 metres from our vans, great food.Breakfast and cake stall was organised early by the volunteer groups for us and the early car arrivals. The attendance was over 200 cars with a few hot rods, a great collection of motor bikes and our five caravans. The weather showers yesterday afternoon, but did not effect us. We went to dinner around 6 00pm and later played pin ball machine and used the pool table to show our talent. Then about 8 30pm or so Terry got the fire bucket going with some assistance, and we stayed chatting until nearly 10 00pm, by now clear sky.Today Sunday beaut fine day. We (those who attended) are each going to encourage others to join us next year. We can arrive Sat. morning (9 30am) set up and socialise until dinner time and after. Sunday all food/drinks are available from early morning until late. This is a dog friendly event, and NO power supply available, the venue is the local touch football oval, so nice and level, on beautiful grass. There is room for at least 30 plus caravans, and the organiser indicated he would love to see that number of vans attend next year. So I would strongly recommend this event to you for next year, -- so mark it on your calendar now. Cheers boblor
