Hi All,
Does anyone know the best way to detach the floor off the body of the sunliner? and then best way to replace it? any advice / info would be really appreciated.
Thanks Al

There is a thread on here somewhere about a gent's removing and replacing his sunliner floor and chassis. You may need to do some digging. he used a forklift -
There are several renovation threads here. Dorian - swellwilly are just two I can think of. Not sure if they did a floor replacement though.
Cheers Atog

G'day Pico, Just to make it a bit easier to find the threads mentioned click on the big HERE below Cruising Dougs project is HERE Swellwillys is HERE This one of jbj's was an epic but I don't think it included a floor replacement, but worth a look HERE This one HERE by sutcac got a new floor but I don't know how he done it... maybe just stuck the new one on top of the old one ?? ?? Why are people always replacing floors in Sunliners ? Cobber.

Thanks so much. l know - i don't see why the floor has to be removed - l think my husband is getting a bit carried away. He asked me to post to see what he could do. Thanks for all the replies. Really appreciated Those restoration jobs are a great inspiration to keep going thats for sure!

I've just gutted my newly acquired sunny and the floor needs replacing.... Is that a definitive 'yes' that the body has to come off the chasis for that to happen..

I managed to liquid nail nail a new plywood floor over all walking areas in van and cut out and replace small full sections under fridge and back of bed. Did not have to touch where fibreglass joins floor. This is on a 65 sunny.also have very springy floor on 16 ft sunny but wil definitely go over the top and leave existing floor good luck!Walt
