desperate to replace lost popped off top any help appreciated. Original somewhere off the side of Bruce Highway between Colosseum and Granite creek rest stop in central Qld. 6 hours of searching without success.

I have located a hatch from a Riviera local to me. Let me know your hatch openning size and I will compare it to the Riviera.

A Riviera hatch is about 300mm longer than a Debonair's, so it would fit straight on to your van with a little extra overhang each end. I have the plan for the pivot hingers and their position within the openning.Think about transport, maybe cut it in half and re-assemble at your end to the correct size.

Thanks for the heads up bob will contact Steve tomorrow and make arrangements and pick up at cooly. The Olympic lid was 2130 x 1130 I am sure I could modify the levers and latches and not cut lid.

Hi Peter
I have a feeling your van may have had the wind-up mechanism for the hatch. If this is the case i recommend that you instal the 'pivot' type hingers in lieu of the wind-up, - much safer. I can send you the plans and details of such if you require them. Glad I was able to find you a hatch.

Had success getting hatch, had it re-glassed seal and netted then used the lever design you sent also put in over-centre latches along each side. not gonna escape again. I am chasing a set of decals in Blue If I remember right the originals had been covered over before I got her. Give me the costs etc and I will transfer direct to your account Cheers
