Hi Steven,
Boy do you find some beauties. No idea how you are going to find the builder of this one. Based on the six stud Chev wheels, & the square cornered windows that appear to be steel framed, & the lights that are at earliest mid 50's in my opinion, I would guess someone built it as a one off. The lights appear to be the newest bits to me, so I would guess mid 50's. But without proof, thats just a guess. Certainly a unique van, & it appears restorable.
You must just about be running out of storage space

G'day Stephen & Julie, You're going to recover it ? You deserve a medal I reckon I agree with most of what JBJ has said although I think those rear Hella / Narva lights may have been added in the mid 50's to make it legal, and it looks a bit ambitious for a home built effort I reckon. It looks like something Clifford Dawtrey of Coventry Steel fame in the UK would have designed, although I can't find an example of his vans that looks like this one....... yet Is the external cladding aluminium or steel, aluminium I suspect ? Even though Coventry Steel started building vans with steel they quickly changed to aluminium. Good luck with the recovery ...... and the restoration, she's a rare van for sure. Cobber.

But Wait there’s more, This property has over 10 vans + old cars, motorbikes and crap everywhere, sadly most are past it. Cheers S&J

G-Day All, Traveled well on the road, a quick gurni and inspection does need some work this one, then under cover, this one will have to go to a good home. Cheers S&J

G'day Stephen & Julie, What do you mean 'this one will have to go to a good home' ...I reckon it's already found a good home Any more clues as to where it was made and by whom ? Cobber.

Hi Stephen&julie,
What a fascinating van. It's come up really well with a wash.
Definitely worth preserving as part of our Australian touring heritage. Hopefully you'll unearth something about its origins along the way.

Stephen&Julie, It came up looking a treat after a little bit of a wash. Triple windows front & rear, portholes either side. Look forward to seeing it transformed into something magical.
