Attachment DeletedAttachment DeletedSo I was lucky enough to come across these 2 sets of porthole windows and the guy also provided a template when he cut it out of the dilapidated (beyond saving) van for me. Picked them up today and my daughter helped clean them up .. best early mothers day present ever. :-) Old thread Hi all, I am looking for a porthole window for the door of my 1965 Sandrover to add a bit of retro cool when it undergoes its much needed restoration. Thanks Dawn Attachment Deleted

Thought I'd jump in while we're talking portholes. Just wondering if new seals available for the porthole windows? I had to dig mine out as it was hard and cracked. - Hubby says to used silicone and Vaseline to mold a new one in place if I cant get one. - Sounds messy to me .

Hi Dawn. If you are interested, I could probably make you one. I need to know the following: What diameter would you want, bear in mind the glass size will be 100mm less, for example if the overall size is say 400 diam. the glass would be 300mm. What is your door thickness, what is the externall cladding, what is the inside cladding of the door, is the door hollow core and is the door weatherproof inside. Also do you want clear glass or obscure or polycarbonate (perspex). The units frame and flanges are aluminium. When I have the answers to the above questions I will be able to give you a price. Regards Case.
