Would like some more details, hope to talk to some members at the next Oakford Vintage Markets, we hope to bring our FB and Baravan along, even though it is not restored, we will bring it along for some advice. My wife is a member too, Adele.

Hey Ron, Looks a great tour you’ve planned there! May I ask ….what the **** are we going to do in the tiny little wheat belt town of Mukinbudin for the day? I was thinking, maybe we could do a pub crawl..... we could start at the Mukka pub at 10.30am …have a coupla quiet ponies (remember them!), then about 11.30am we could move to the Mukka pub for a couple of middies and a pub lunch, (I hear the Mukka Pub makes the best steak sandwich in Mukinbudin)!... Following lunch, we can move on to the Mukka pub and try some different beers and Beams, ... then a little later move up the road (read bar) to the Mukka pub to check out that pub!..If we’re still standing, we can have dinner at the Mukka pub for somewhere different, followed by a night cap at the ……yep ….you guessed it …..the only pub in town ….THE MUKKA PUB !! Seriously mate ….what were you thinking Mark

Hey Ron,
If you happen to be near Kelleberrin drop in on the Marek Bros Garage for a gander, worth the look as it is the old Holden Dealership. Ask for Richard.
cheers HKnut

Glad you can come Jono and didn't take too much notice of Mark T and his disappointment at the lack of pubs in Mukka. There will be things to do in and around Mukka, but if Mark wants more pubs he can go to Bencubbin(37Ks) then to Trayning (36Ks) and onto Nungarin (34Ks)and back to Mukka (34Ks). How is that for a pub crawl. Thanks HKnut I will try to include Kellerberrin in the pub crawl, um I mean Spring tour. Ron

Hi Ron/Elaine/Family and all the WA Gang, HEEEWWWWGGGLLLEEE disappointed to say Megan and I can't join you guys. Got all excited when I read the post, checked the dates and realised on School Holidays which would suit me well as a SchoolBus Contractor. Problem is 25 YEAR School Reunion falls on the 10th October and held in Bunbury, and as Megan and I met at School, I guess I better front up!! Megan's taken some time off this July so may head North during approaching Holidays in the Propert.[Shark Bay] Glad to see Jono is joining you. Never met the fella but I see has made tasteful changes to make Snails Globetrotter his own.

Hi all
Good news for Neale and Adele, Willow brook farm will have a big TV set up in the shearing shed to watch the footy grand final. Apparently its a tradition there, just like the Scones on Sunday morning which of course we will be there for. Thanks for the tip from HKnut we will be visiting Marek Bros Garage in Kellerberrin and also staying in Kellerberrin for the night. Unfortunately that means we will only be able to stay in Mukinbudin for 1 night. Sorry Mark I know you were looking forward to the Mukinbudin pub crawl. Hey Richard like Mark said you can come on the first few days of the tour, what do ya reckon ? Hope your work roster allows you to join us too Daggsey Will keep you all posted on further updates
Ron

Hi all
Only 2 1/2 weeks to go till the 2015 Spring Tour. Kicking off at Willowbrook Farm to watch the AFL finals Plenty of activities planned in our fabulous northern Wheatbelt with not too many km's to travel each day, to suit our old cars and vans. We are really looking forward to a couple of car collections and vintage museums to check out on our travels but most importantly looking forward to catching up with our awesome vintage caravan crew and sharing happy hour with you all each evening/afternoon. Looks like we have 11 starters so far. Anyone else in??
Cheers Ron and Elaine

Howdy Shiloh,
Looks like the Daggsey-one has managed to get a reprieve from FIFO duties for a week and a bit, so should be able to join the happy wanderers on this venture. There is a possible little snag.....Effacy is currently getting a very much needed steering work-over (inc. hopefully, an exchange steering box that Rare Spares now do) and I don't really want to lower myself and tow with a modern car .
As an aside it has been brought to my attention that the Kulin Races www.australiasgoldenoutback.com/events-calender?DetailsView=true&EventItem=36c2d193-dc35-429c-8743-b717fd3170a8 are on the first Saturday of the school holidays......this could be a great launching pad for a vintage caravan run and could have the potential of a great "show and shine"for the gathered crowds . Bit late now to change our plans, but worth future consideration.

Day 1 of the Spring tour is Saturday, 3rd October
AFL Grand Final Day!! What a crazy day to start the Vintage Caravan Spring Tour. We will meet and greet at the lovely Willowbrook Farm Caravan Park before, during or after the AFL Grand Final. Feel free to join Bill and Lil and the rest of us to watch the footy on the big screen TV or if that is not your cup of tea you can walk around the park and meet all the animals.
Be sure to bring a BBQ/picnic dinner for this evening as there is no pub or restaurant nearby.
WILLOWBROOK CARAVAN PARK 1679 GINGIN BROOK ROAD, NEERGABBY 6503 PHONE: 08 9575 7566 $35 PER POWERED SITE
Looking forward to seeing you all there (13 of us now, woohoo!!)
Cheers Ron & Elaine
