The tab on the back of this lock snapped and we are looking for a replacement. It was the lock from the service door from the back of the fridge. It's a 21.5mm lock. We can easily get a 19mm, but the 21.5mm size is proving far more difficult. Appreciate any assistance!

G'day maplegum, I'd check with your local locksmith and see if the existing lock can be repaired in some way (and is cost effective ). When you say "It's a 21.5mm lock", is that the barrel length, or the barrel diameter?? Do a Google search for cabinet lock 21.5mm - there seems to be some that size out there (depending on whether we're talking length, or diameter... ) cheers, Al.

Hey, It's the barrel diameter we are speaking of. So far, no luck with locksmiths. The company is still operation but they no longer make this lock. We will keep looking I guess

What about exploring the option of buying a 19mm lock and building the diameter out to 21.5mm, either by wrapping a sleeve around the barrel, or even winding electrical tape around the barrel until it thickens out to 21.5mm?
