Hi Hillsviscount, Welcome to the forum and congratulations on your acquisition. We're a friendly lot here, so we'll do the best we can to help you. Hopefully we'll be able to give you a rough idea of the year of your van once we've seen a few photos of it, in addition to the one you've used for your avatar. The best option for posting photos is to post them from Photobucket or one of the other online photo storage websites. There are instructions in the 'Forum Guidelines & Helpful Hints' section of the forum on how to do that. You've got your avatar up, so that's a good start if you've got that far. However, apart from posting the photos of your van, you can also have a look at the Viscount thread in the 'Down History Lane' section, which I see you've already found. If you look through the thread you'll see a few different models of Viscount. Hopefully one will be like yours. Have a particular look at page 4 where I've posted some photos and advertising material about early 60's Viscounts, which I think may be around where your van fits in, as far as I can tell from your avatar. I think there are a few serial numbers recorded in the DHL thread as well, so that may help. When you're looking for a match, take particular notice of the shape and design of the front of the van, and the front and back windows, as well as the placement of the blue flash in relation to the windows. As far as getting your van back on the road - there's quite a few people on the forum who've been down that track and will be able to give you a list of things you need to do/check, so I'll leave them to help you with that. Enjoy your van! Don Ricardo
