need advice...removing single fibreglass beds out of my Olympic riviera van....any tips on the best way in tackling this so fibreglass shell isn't damaged & can it be removed in one piece...if so what's the trick to it?? thanks Phoeynix

photographs? Most of those with fibreglass beds were built in the 70's. The reason you want to remove these would be helpful too. IE. Mine were timber and too low so replaced them with taller beds. Is the floor the problem? Sometimes you may be able to get around the problem without removing the beds. Olympic were very good at sticking these things together. So removing bits can be a real issue. Again - photos may help us help you. Cheers Atog

Hi phoenix Do I have your details on my Olympic register ?.If not please PM them to me, or 0428 850 666. If you have to remove the beds, this is not a major task. A 1000mm grinder with a 2mm blade, cut f'glass at floor level and the vertical cuts as necessary, tool . Cheers boblor

will remember to post pics next time...all done impatient partner has removed them..all good as we are replacing all the floor.
