I have for sale some puvpc glazing wedge seal that fits the Viscount slant back windows. I got samples from various places and just wasn't happy with the fit and am unable to get the original silver seal so ended up getting this product from the UK. I used twenty metres on a van with the double storey front and back windows. Very happy with the finish. Take a look or take a sample to try yourself. Windows are all done and have thirty metres of the seal surplus. $40.00 Sydney pick up

This wedge seal also fits the newer style viscount window that doesn't have the frame seal.

Hello leeron,
I don't know why you have not received any responses for your window wedges post, but I have recently ordered and received window wedges and numerous other items from Caravan Plus and despite paying for freight, I have found them to be much cheaper that caravan places around where I live. I don't know how what you are wanting to sell competes with Australian sold products.
Regards,
Bob.

I looked and tried all the products available here in oz and wasn't happy with the fit of any of them. The product I have surplus of I am very happy with. It was less than half the price of the products available here that were not as good a fit in my type of window frames.
I simply ordered more than twice the amount of what I needed for my van as it was less than half the price delivered. (Compared to the stuff available here)
That way anyone that was fussy about proper sealing and bedding their window glass could and can just come and get some from me if they wanted some.
I did get your pm a while ago asking me where I purchased it from mibosa, but I don't keep invoices mate. I also got the message about the WESCO tow coupling I put up on here for anyone that needed a correct period override coupling. Apolagies for not posting it earlier. I do not have much time outside of work and my family at the moment.
How is that broken window frame of yours going by the way? Have you got a replacement?

Hi Leeron,
my humble apologies for not getting back to you earlier. I ended up going with the window glazing rubber sold by Caravan Plus as I ordered that wedge, plus dust seals and a few other items and it worked out from memory to be cheaper buying all the items plus delivery.and used warm soapy water to instal it into the window frames. I was very happy with how it turned out. As to the broken window frame, Stephen&Julie came to the rescue. They were selling a few window frames in a bundle but agreed to let me have just the frame that I required. I was very thankful, as I thought I was not going to be able to get a replacement frame. I managed to get a family member from NSW who was doing a bit of a road trip to collect it on the way to Adelaide. I haven't installed it just yet as I am nearing the end of my interior painting process.
Regards,
Bob

Hi Leeron, I am interested in picking up your wedge seal material . We have a viscount valiant. Looks to be mid 60's Model build number C 342 with number 5901 under the drawers. We are located in Berrima. Is it still available?

Are these glazing wedge rubbers till available? I'm after a set for a 1964 Viscount. If not, can anyone let me know where to order them from? Thanks in advance.

G'day hereward,
In the descriptive text below the photo, it says this wedge is "Also used on very early Millard and Viscount vans."
I'm sure other early Viscount owners can tell you what worked best for them.
cheers, Al.
