Attachment DeletedToday she rose from the grassy paddock back with a new lease of life and had her maiden voyage to the engineer for a new A Frame ,weigh station ,mechanic for the blue slip and RTA for her number plates ready to go Caravanning to Huskisson on Monday. she is a 76-78 i hope that vintage enough to be on here? she needs some work so ill be posting the pics of her new lease on life. G'day Brendon and Janelle, and welcome to this forum. For caravans built in the 1970s, you have to cross over to our sister forum for Classic Caravans, which covers that time period. Click here to take you over there. I think you can join up over there using the same username that you've used here. I hope you kept the chassis number that was on the original A-frame, because that tells you the age of the van. The first number is the year number (so a 6 is 1976; 7 is 1977; and 8 is 1978). The rest of the numbers tell you how early (or late) in the year it was built. From memory, these poptop models were known as the "Explorer" model, but you'll get more info when you post your details over on the CC forum. cheers, Al.
