We have booked! Only there for the Sat night but will be bringing two vans. A third might be joining but won't know until a couple of days before. Look forward to catching up. Cheers, John

Hi SGTL and other Echuca weekend attendees,
Very sadly, Dona Ricardo and I will have to be apologies for this weekend.
As it has turned out, Dona Ricardo has some work related meetings she has to attend on Friday, her brother and sister-in-law have decided to come from WA to Melbourne for the weekend for one of their very infrequent trips over and will be staying with us, and we've been invited to a 'significant birthday' party for one one of our very long time friends on Saturday. So here's a question for you to ponder around the campfire: Why, oh why, does everything always happen on the same weekend?
I trust that you all have a great time, and we will have to content ourselves with looking at the photos (so take plenty!).
Don Ricardo

OK folks, the countdown is on. Suggested itinerary- Friday night BBQ, BYO everything. As far as I can establish, there are approx 30 vans coming so that means approx 60 people. Saturday AM- I have messaged the local paper but have not heard back, don't hold your breath for fame & fortune! Head down the street to 'All Vintages Bazaar & Coffee' with your discount voucher. Have a look around Echuca etc. Saturday Afternoon- The Lockington & District Heritage Centre is expecting us at 2.30 for a tour of the complex & afternoon tea. $8/head. Allow 20 to 30 mins driving time. Map will be provided. Saturday PM- Looking at possibly the Rich River Golf Club which has a band playing. We need somewhere that can accommodate all of us! Will need to get an idea of numbers in the morning. Sunday AM- Tour to John & Sue Cox's farm to view their John Deere tractor collection, restored settler wagons & doll collection. 10.30- 11.00 ? Byo thermos & bikkies. Lindsey aka SGTL

Wow sounds like an interesting time ahead this weekend, looking forward to it.
While on the topic of babies, is the Golf Club baby friendly?
See you all there.

Oh, hang it all! I knew you'd all have a great time in Echuca! Some great pics SGTL. Thanks for posting them, even if it does just rub it in that Dona Ricardo and I missed it! Well done on a great event. The John Deere collection looks like it was worth seeing all on its own. Don Ricardo
