1968 14 ft Olympic Debonair Fibreglass Caravan
$7490
Regrettably and due to unforeseen circumstances my van is now up for sale.
Retro style Annexe is like new with wooden poles and Marconi track, Original Gas Stove is like new, has a mesh floor for the Annexe and the infill between the van and the ground.(You can set this up as an awning only or awning with 1 or 2 sides etc).
Original Gas/240 Volt Fridge in good condition but not working (I have been told to pull it out and turn it upside down for a few days and it should then work but I have not tried it) We use it to keep vegetables, eggs and fruit in when away and also take a bar fridge.
Fully screened tinted windows and screened hatch.
Lights are 12 / 240 volts and all work .
A CO2 detector/alarm has also been fitted for safety. (LPG detector in case of LPG leak)
Sink and tap set up for town water with the original water tank but not the plunge type tap (Changed by a previous owner).
The floor at the entry had a poor repair done which I have now re-done and should never need doing again. (Common area that needs repairing on Olympic vans)
There is no water damage to the interior of this van and has never leaked in the time that we have owned it.
There is no rust in the draw bar or Chassis.
It has brakes that work well.
It is light and we have towed it behind my wifes 4 cylinder Mazda and the previous owners towed it behind there 4 cylinder Camry (Normally it is towed by my Mustang or my ute)
This originally had 2 single beds and the dining table folded down as a double but I have roughed in a Queen size bed where the 2 singles originally were.
I had intentions of modifying the base and having the bed hinge up but this has not yet happened.
