Evening all, This caravan is listed on Gumtree at the moment as a "Holden": According to the seller: "I have a vintage holden caravan extremely rare in pretty good shape it tows really well needs a bit of tlc I have registration papers to prove its holden manufactured"We know that Holden didn't build caravans (not directly anyway), and I think that it is probable that the van was re-registered at some stage as a 'Holden', perhaps even just based on the hubcaps. However, it is conceivable that the vans were built by someone and then sold by a Holden dealer somewhere. I think Hughdeani has told us that Reg Hunt Motors, a big Holden dealer in Melbourne in its day, used to sell re-badged Wayfarer caravans, for example. Anybody want to hazard a guess who built it? Any thoughts Hughdeani? One thing's for sure though, whoever built it wasn't big on windows - at least on the side we can see! Don Ricardo

I think you hit the nail on the head Don, The van is a Milard, possibly re registered as a Holden! As we have learnt in this game re registered vans can be any name, year and weight the owner wants! Cheers hughdeani
