Hi All, I was wondering if anyone knows of someone who would be interested in doing some restoration work on a 1950 bondwood van. I did have someone replace water damaged panel but I have a return of the water damage. I would love to get my van on the road so would be grateful if someone could assist. I live on the Mornington Peninsula, Victoria. Many thanks Julie.

Hi, does anyone know what product to use to rejouvenate AMBER INDICATOR LIGHT COVERS. Apparently there is a paint (or some sort) which would have to be transparent/translucent to be legal. If any part of the amber (or red for tail light) has faded it is not legal on Aust roads. Thanks Sue

Hi suzieq2012
I used an aerosol product from the local auto shop called 'Specialty Aerosol Lens and Bulb Dye' on my tail light before Broken Hill this year and it is still looking good. Made in Aus but no www on the can for further info. Quite expensive for the amount you use, but it worked, available in red or amber and I should think most auto accessory shops would have it or something similar. Previously I've used a paint on one and painted the globe and left the faded lens, lots of new cars have clear lenses and coloured bulbs, never had a peep from the rego inspector.
