SOLD. LEAVING THE THREAD HERE FOR FUTURE REFERENCE.Ready for restoration!I rescued this Carapark 10 9 from a paddock where it has been sitting for the past 20 years. Based on the ID stamp on the tow bar, I think the year of manufacture is 1958. These are very popular as converted food vans, radio broadcast booths or simply as a restored piece of Australian history. These caraparks were typically manufactured out of Newcastle and were popular as holiday rentals. More information can be found on the forums here vintagecaravans.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=chat&action=display&thread=2001&page=1I am based in Coorparoo in Brisbane. If you have any questions or would like to arrange a viewing please contact Dan at danshifty@hotmail.com I will consider all offers around the $3000 mark Genuine enquires only please. Looks like its in pretty decent nic considering the time its been sitting. An "after market" tropical roof/viewing/storage platform & doggy door to boot.Guessing it was used as workers caravan. Good luck with the sale.

Good luck with the sale. Yes it was used as a production vehicle for quarterhorsing events near Tamworth hence the roof platform for a tripod. The 'doggy door' is actually where the circuit board is located as there has been lots of extra power points added to cater for the editing workstation. Cheers for the post!
