Hi all A few of us decided to have a weekend at Wooli, just south of Grafton & we're hoping other people might also enjoy being beside the river for a couple of days, kayaking, yacking, laughing & just doing whatever!!! Dates are Friday 24 & Saturday 25 October, but its up to you how long you stay. Boots has phoned up the Caravan Park & reserved riverbank sites 204-211, & sites 219, 220, 221. The Park is called Solitary Islands Resort. You need to phone 1800 003 031 & do your own booking, by 16 October. Here's the map to the park www.solitaryislandsresort.com.au/parkmap.htmlIts an interactive map so you click on each site number & a photo of the site pops up! Sites booked so far are Boots site 207 smiles site 210 Cheers smiles

hi all,
well this one is on this weekend. Great park, about 40km south of Grafton, on the coast. nice little town, between the river & the beach
Park manager reckons flathead, bream, whiting & crabs are biting from the riverbank, so I'm a sucker. I'll support the bait sellers for the weekend & see if anything is biting.
Hopefully a few more will come for the weekend, but hey you dont need a big crowd to enjoy yourself in an old van, with good company & in one of the best parts of Australia
Its all fun

Hi all
Just a small bump for this weekend coming at Wooli. 4 vans are booked in for a quiet weekend on the rivers edge. C/park says there's still a few spare sites near rest of us if anyone else is interested.
Cheers smiles
