It was a good event but on principle the big 4 van park should be firmly OFF the option list for accommodation in Adelaide. They were useless unhelpfull and obstructive to all the VVers who attended despite the massive opportunity for Free PR they were given with our attendance and the TV coverage Jennison

This is where you saw the info about camping at the show grounds. Subject to Confirmation sounds fantastic Chris! ....I've always wanted to attend the Clipsal V8 Supercar event! CLIPSAL is a name synonymous with vintage vanners, the company manufactured the power inlet plugs for caravans during 1940's and 50's and beyond. And......HOW GOOD IS THIS! The CCISA have again invited vintage vanners to their 2015 Caravan & Camping show the weekend before (February 21) to again do a parade and display vintage vans at the event, just as we did in 2013 But ...wait ....there's more! .....this time we are allowed to camp over at the showgrounds on the Friday night (subject to confirmation from the organisers)! So .....combine the two events, and WOW! ...what a fantastic week in Adelaide! Finer details to follow! Mark

If any one is trying to register for the above event, they haven't a section any where on their site you can register your interest in attending the event. (the site to register hasn't been built yet )
However if you contact the lady that is organising the event at mel@caravaningandcampingsa.com.au she will register you.

Hi Vintage Vanners If you are yet to register for the 2015 Vintage Caravan Display at Wayville during the Let's Go Caravan & Camping Lifestyle Show please do so ASAP so that we can ensure that your pre 1980's van can be included in our show program. To register your van please visit our site at www.vintagecaravangrandparade.com.au/vintage-register/ [1] Some details if you are wishing to know more…. REGISTRATION If you or someone you know who may be interested has not registered their van please ask them to do so ASAP. To enable us to include your vans in our show program, we must receive your entry no later than FRIDAY 15 JANUARY. Vans may be permitted to enter the display after this period but they will not be included in our program. It is also important for our planning of space to have a clear understanding of numbers and space required. If you have not provided a photo of your van, could you please forward one to mel@caravanandcampingsa.com.au so that your van can be included in our show program. If you have a VINTAGE CAR can you please ensure that I am aware of this so that we can allow adequate space for both to be display in the same area. Move in Move in to the Showground will be 6:00 - 8:00pm on Friday 20th - in the hope of avoiding heavy city traffic and public show goers who will be at Wayville until 5pm. Further details on your move in will come next year! SATURDAY AND SUNDAY AT THE SHOWGROUND The Vintage Van Display is to held within the Arena of the Wayville Showground and open to the public both Saturday and Sunday 10am until 5pm. Vans and registered owners will be permitted to stay overnight at the Showground on Friday 20 and Saturday 21 February only. Toilets and very basic shower facilities will be available (if you are familiar with the Showground these facilities are near the horse stables). Vans will be stationed in the fenced show area with overnight security. We also have security during the day time). Power will be made available on the Arena for those wishing to stay overnight. We will provide you with an exhibitor pass which will allow you to use our exhibitor lounge area with access to free tea and coffee during the event. Your pass will also allow you access to the show. Car permits will be distributed with your pass and allow you to enter and exit the showground prior to show opening and after show close times. No animals are permitted at the Wayville Showground. Your cars will be allocated a space either alongside or very near to your van and following fire and safety guidelines.. MOVE OUT Move out will take place Sunday from 6 - 8pm (after the general public have vacated). For safety reasons we must all arrive and depart at strictly the specified times. FURTHER INFORMATION As we get closer to the show date you will be provided exhibitor passes and parking permits which will allow you to enter the Showground via Leader Street, Wayville.
