Hi Murry, at a guess going by the flat roof and being very square at the bottom, I would guess that It's a home built van. I would imagine that this shape was done this way as it would have been very easy to make at home. The off side door is interesting which indicates it possibly was imported from over seas.
Interesting van will look great done up.

I`m going to say it was a commercially built van (council/railways) going by the profile/proximity of rivets/jockey wheel.A clue might be the number plate. gordon

Murray Hi. Looks great. Good thing its got no wheel arches 'cause you can turn it around on the chassis and have the door on the proper side. I remember, when I was a kid, seeing vans with doors on the off side and then, for safety reasons, they changed it to door only on curb side. Ted
