If you've had your van rewired in the last four years, you are advised to check the brand of cable that was used in the rewiring. Imported electrical cable sold through 18 outlets over the last four years has been found to be substandard and MAY lead to the insulation becoming brittle within a couple of years, depending on the environment. And this was the whole reason I saved up and had the qualified electrician come and work on my franklin. Had her completely re-wired I had green sticky stuff coming out the back of the switches (what ever that was???) 2 new power points installed at each end and I am now just waiting for the bill in the post
