G'day caravanning couple, CLICK HERE and scroll down to 'stickers' .... We've recently added a link to RVstickers, they may have what you want or.... you may have to give them a sample of what you want. Let us know how you go with them. Cobber.

G'day Max and Carol,
I note in a post you've placed elsewhere on the forum today that you state you have a 1974 Franklin. If that is indeed true, you are not looking for the same Franklin sticker that was used in the 1960s, and would instead be looking for a cast aluminium badge that was pop rivetted to the front and rear aluminium cladding.
It's worth establishing whether your van is really from 1974 or not. If you look on the drawbar just near where the jockey wheel is attached, you should see a chassis number welded there. Can you tell me what that chassis number is please? Once we accurately determine the year of manufacture of your van, we can then determine the correct badge/sticker that belongs to it.
cheers, Al.

Hi Al thanks for the reply, Im led to believe the franklin is a 1974. The draw bar has been replaced so no identifying welds if its any help inside on the ends there is scalloped shelves and on the outside knobs on the end of the roof section Regards Max and Carol

I have artwork for the Franklin stickers. You would need to find a printer. Koala Hi Koala, I have a 1970 Franklin Regent, the paint has faded and the actual decals have gone but I can just make out the Franklin logo, I have read thie following on another post and believe that this is the original decal that I would need. In the right light I can see the words First in mobile living. I would rather not cover it up with a newer sticker if I can find something more in keeping. Any help appreciated. Bryan "The Franklin logo in the badge in the article was introduced by Franklin in mid-1970 at the Sydney Caravan Show. If you go back and look at the first photo in Reply #35 in this thread, you'll see a photo of what it looked like on a caravan. There are additional words under the Franklin word which say "The Mobile Living People" [correction] "First In Mobile Living". This version of the Franklin logo lasted until early 1973 when it was changed again to have the arrow head shifted over to the left, and just FRANKLIN in sloping letters. All Franklin badges for the 1973 logo were cast in aluminium and screwed to the cladding front and rear. This is how the Franklin logo remained until Franklin closed down in 1981." Any good signwriter with the right software can recreate the design from a photo. Our local guy did our smaller side stickers for $20 cash.

I actually have a friend with this soft ware, just need a decent photo of the actual decal as ours is so faded that it can only be seen with the sun at the correct angle. It is the decal that reads Franklin , arrow head to the right and underneath says " first in mobile living" if anyone has a clear picture I would really appreciate seeing it. Thanks.
