I just bought a 16 foot Franklin project. It was to be a national park weekender, then I find out about V V. What to do? Will get a photo later, also an old Sunwagon camper, don't know how old, which we will sell soon.

Hi Iain, Can't open your photo but maybe it is just my computer. On this forum you need to load photos using Photobucket, the link to the instructions can be found on the main forum home page.

Hi Iain, sorry to disappoint you but your van is not a Franklin! It's an Adventurer built in SA.If you look down history lane I'm pretty sure you will find more info about it there. Cheers Hughdeani

Hi Iain, Further to Hughdeani's post, very sadly the photos we had of an Adventurer caravan of a similar style to yours were deleted from the Adventurer thread in the 'Down History Lane' (DHL) section by a disenchanted former member, to the detriment of us all. However, all is not quite lost...Adventurer-built caravans were badged and sold as Ravans in Western Australia - so if you look at the Ravan thread in the DHL section you'll see a caravan that may have a number of similarities to yours. You can find the Ravan thread by using the index at the top of the DHL section. Have a look and tell us what you think. Don Ricardo

Thanks for the interest and help. Had a look at the Ravan and see some similarities although a different size/ layout, even the clock between the front cupboard doors and the timber screen door.
The number on the draw bar top is 950. Having been through this over the last days I'm getting more interested in VV.

Found at the weekend; Under the paint on the front of the van is the name Adventurer. Looks like Hughdeani was right. Iain
