Hi Again, I've just been reading through an article on Olympic Caravans of which Boblor supplied much of the info; the article also had numerous old advertisements - Article Here The article has prompted a question - what model is my 21 footer? The adds list the Stardust and Travel Trailer as different models. My 21 footer has Stardust stickers on the side and Travel Trailer sticker at the front. Is there a way to distinguish between the two? Thanks OZ

Hi Bob & Cobber, Although the early advertisements listed the Stardust and the travel Trailer as different models, so if my understanding is correct, then mine is an Olympic Travel Trailer, model Stardust - Correct?? Just looking for clarity! OZ

G'day Oz, Cobber will drop off the scene here and leave it to boblor who knows more about these vans than I ever will. This post vintagecaravans.proboards.com/post/17826 of Bobs back in 2007 doesn't make it clear to me so I reckon he will be along soon to straighten us out Cobber.

Hi All My understanding on this subject is,-- the early 19' units were called 'StyleLeader' (as was the 11'6" models), then we got all 19' and 21' models called 'Stardust' and all 21' models had the added sticker 'Travel Trailer' attached to the right side of the Olympic sticker on the front and rear. I consider the manufacture was trying to carry on the line 'Detroit line' from their adverts at the time. Travel Trailer is an American term used for caravans.I hope this clears it up, or have I made it muddier. Cheers boblor
