Hi all West Aussies out there!
(louder) Hi all West Aussies out there!(louder) HI ALL WEST AUSSIES OUT THERE! (SORRY FOR SHOUTING MAURIE ) Just in case there are some of us left west-side of the vermin-proof fence, an initial proposal for the 2014 Spring Tour is a journey to Esperance on the south coast. The proposed date for this excursion is Sat. 11th - 18th/19th October. This is a little later than our normal "Spring Tour", but it is in the 4th school term and not the 3rd and may possibly be a littler warmer (i.e. -5 instead of -10)
How we get there and back will be divulged later (it's an operational matter ), but let's see if we have any starters first.
Of course anyone else who is visiting WA ("Doing a Daggsey") or who wants to duck across the Nullabor and join us is more than welcome to do so.

Yay! We may be able to make this one as it is right in between a couple of our important shows-well timed guys! Esperance is one of our favourite places too. So I think you can count us in at this stage! Leesa.

Hmmmm - October - that might be enough time to dig out tree stump, lay concrete pad, bring van home, quick refurb...in time to go down to see family....

Hi guys, we wont be able to make it for the first Friday and Saturday night unfortunately. We are booked into the Waroona Show (Saturday 11th) so we will most likely be staying at the Waroona Caravan Park. We are hoping to catch up with you on Sunday. If we are lucky Lilli and her Modern may be with us also! When you have the trip planned out please do let me know so we can plan ahead. Hopefully you wont be too far down the track...although the Baravan is easy to tow at high speeds haha..just kidding. Thanks Leesa.

that is awesome woowoo!!! I will have my car and van and a market stall at the Oakover for the Vintage Collective Market on the 12th October...will you be displaying your cars and vans there before heading off on Monday?? Ron and me are planning on joining you for the tour this year but thought we would have to start a little later because of the markets but now it's all fitting together beautifully...can't wait.

Hi Wendy. I have been in contact with Michelle who organises the Vintage Collective Market and Show n Shine at the Oakover. She said you have contacted her. She would like us to send her a different photo every second week or so, to use to help advertise the event and tease the public with our awesome vans. So when we know who is going we can start sending her some pics. So looking forward to it. Elaine xx

Hi Everyone, attached is the itinerary for the Escape to Esperance Spring Tour . As you can see our first day will be at The Vintage Collective Markets held at the Oakover Winery. I will send more details when they come to hand. You will need to ring the Caravan Parks to book your sites for the nights you will be joining the Tour. When booking let them know you are with vintagecaravans.com and they will put us all together. There is no need to book Wagin Showgrounds as we have a group booking for $15.00 each a night. Katanning is also a group booking and you don't need to call them. All other parks require a booking and may also require a deposit. This is the base of where we will be going and we will have many things to see and do along the way. Please send me a pm or give me a call if you have any questions. Wendy ph: 0402130462

Thanks Woowoo for taking the reigns in organising this event. Due to unforseen reasons , I had to pass the baton and will not be able to attend. It looks like a fully comprehensive run you have organised and I'm sure all participants will enjoy .

Just over 2 weeks to go now , so looking forward to Esperance. There is a pink lake there that has flamingos I think. Surely the home of vintage caravans.

I second Daggseys sentiments and hope you people have an enjoyable spring tour through a loverly part of Oz. We spent a few days at Esperance on the way home from your 10th Anniversary Spring Tour in 2012 and loved the place, I'm envious Cobber.
