Hi All
Gay has hand made a quilt 167cm x 167 cm with vintage caravan material this is to be raffled at the nats and the draw is at the nats dinner Thursday night $5 a ticket all money collected to be donated to the Royal Flying Doctor base Broken Hill
We are looking in to forum members that are not attending the nats to be able to buy tickets ...cost to send it Australia wide is $18.00 .....more on this shortly

Yeah, very impressive piece of work there, Gay! I can see it fitting very nicely on the bed of my project van. It's sad that there can be only one winner in this raffle, but hey, people can always come and see it on my bed if they want to see what they missed out on. [but no drooling on the quilt, ok?!] Saving my pennies for some tickets as we speak... cheers, Al.

This is not going to happen .....tickets only available at the nats ...or if you have friends attending ask them to buy you a ticket

The quilt raffle was won by Cobber & Mrs Cobber and bought in approx $900
Mark T donated one new vintagecaravans.com cooler bag as 2nd prize..... not sure who won this ...can some one let me know
Money raised from the sale of raffle tickets for the quilt and the nationals stickers and the auction night raised $2.575.00 :)being donated to the Royal Flying Doctors base at Broken Hill thanks to all the members that bought raffle tickets
Also big thanks to forum members Tubbygra (Graham & Linda ) from Bendigo also forum member Franko's wife Liz (from Mildura ) for selling the raffle tickets
The big chiefs from Time to Roam magazine spent 2/3 days in the caravan park with us ( lots of photos from the nats coming up in Time to Roam magazine Soooooon........ they got in to the auction spirit and donated 2 years free subscription to the magazine big thanks to Time to Roam
Thanks to Gay (Mrs Firefighter) for making the Quilt..... RalfnDi for selling the nats stickers...and Errol and Mrs Errol for running the Auction and collecting the money ....big thanks to all the forum members that donated goods for the auction night and the members that bought goods
We have a receipt for the money raised from the till at the RFD base at B H.....we are receiving another receipt from head office in Sydney in the name of vintagecaravans.com when this turns up I will post it in this thread
Don Ricardo has photos of the auction night....raffle draw.....and handing over the money to the staff at the RFD base D R will post the photo's soon

Hi firefighter Maree mulligan from parkes nsw won the cooler bag Thanks for a great week everyone, hubby n I had a fantastic time. This was our first nationals n loved it (did visit Cowra Nats. n caught the v v bug) Met a lot of lovely, friendly vanners, It was also great to meet up with a lot of the guys that attended Museum of long weekend in Canberra Thank again Maree
