We recently found this old receipt for a caravan park stay in 1972. We found it behind the fridge when we removed it and it is in pretty good condition considering it has been hiding there for 41 years! If only it was still $1.30 per day for a powered site!

G'day Mildred, Even though your receipt is not classed as "vintage" in terms of the parameters of the caravans on this site (i.e. pre-1970), it is still scarey to think that 1972 was 41 years ago and fast approaching 42!!! It is also a fair indication that "Mildred" was used as the maker intended.....as holiday accommodation, possibly by a Mexitorian or a travelling Sandgroper. Other than being put on a train or truck, there is every chance that she may have crossed the Nullabor when the road was still gravel . Great find and worth preserving. Daggsey
