Hi Johno What an incredible transformation I am absolutely blown away by what you've achieved in 3 months. For those who don't remember, check this van out when I posted it under Millard in DHL in december 2012 and compare it to the pics posted above. Congratulations!! Well done ;D ;D ;D Ray

Hi Johno
A real credit to you - she looks lovely. I really like the colours chosen - red and white always look classy!
Great job - where's your first trip to christen her?
Cheers Seeshell

Hey Johno, Great to see what you've achieved with Milly. She looks wonderful. As was mentioned when you told us about her in December, she is close to the earliest Millard on the forum, if not the earliest, so all your work to restore her is very worthwhile. Back when you first posted, Milly was compared to HDTodd's van, but for what it's worth in my opinion your van is probably several years older than that one judging from its shape. HDTodd's van has the bulkhead over the front window, and the curve below the window which was typical of very late 50's/early 60's vans, whereas Milly doesn't have those features and has a shape more typical of around 56/7/8. One of these days we may be able to be a bit more definitive, but in the meantime hopefully you can now get out on the road and enjoy your work! Don Ricardo

Give up, johno...that bloody Chesney of yours just DOESN'T want to show its face on this forum! Did you know your other posts about this van have been shifted to a new thread in the General Section?: 15 ft Chesney Tandem QuestionsI'd go buy a Franklin if I were you. They don't give half as much trouble as Chesneys when you're trying to post photos... cheers, Al.
