Can-O-Mat opener Look at this little cutie that just arrived from Dubbo wrapped in real wool.....will look really good in Miss Merle ;D A little history of the Rival Corporation of Kansas City – the O-Mat series ceased sometime in the 1960’s www.rocketvan.com/omat/history.php

Hi Aquamum I love your Can-O-Mat - and luckily you got the wall bracket which is so often lost. There were a range of kitchen bits that all fit the same bracket - the Ice-O-Mat (Bucketeer and other models), the Juice-O-Mat (very rare!), Knife-O-Mat, the Jar-O-Mat as well as the Can-O-Mat (mine swings away on a pin on that bracket). And if it didn't have to fix to the wall you could also get the Juice-O-Mat, Shred-O-Mat, and the Grind-O-Mat...and that's only the non-electrified ones. I have a few myself (the first three use the same bracket): Keep on collecting - they're surprisingly beautiful and useful low-tech items. Seeshell
