Cost .....nothing..... if you have a pre 1969 Vehicle or Caravan to display
No power........BUT..... they might set up a large generator that was the stand by unit at Melbourne airport for us to use.....Note this is only a might at this stage
Hot showers available .........toilets........the lake goldsmith committee will have on site a new portable toilet block.......that we can use
Please post here or send me a personal message if you will be attending this event....Note you don't have to fill out any forms I have to ring Ron the Chairman (also a vintage vanner) a couple weeks before we attend with numbers
If attending from interstate......Bendigo swap is on...... Saturday 17th Sunday 18th November 2 week after Lake Goldsmith You would need to be thinking about booking a caravan park in Bendigo now........we stop at the Ascot holiday park
Barham NSW weekend away in June...... this is organised by our members from Ballarat and Lake Goldsmith
Anybody who was at Lake Goldsmith in 2010..... on the way to the Mildura Nationals... will tell you she's a top spot to spend a few days. There's a few photos showing the roll up at Lake Goldsmith in 2010 if you click HERE they even produced a badge commemorating the Vintage Caravan involvement at the 95th Steam Rally
Hi All, Trudi & I will be along to Lake Goldsmith again. Last time was a great weekend. Some folk may remember I had a box of 1950s/60s Water Transfers of about 100 towns around NSW, Vic & Qld. They will be there again. $5 each or 5 for $20. PM me with an Email if you want a list so I can post them out, too. I haven't been involved much lately as I had an accident and broke my back about Xmas 2010. Add a cancer scare to that ant I had a 2011 that I would rather forget. I'm back on deck now so we will see you all soon. Cheers, Neil.

Hi, The Last of the Chrome Bumpers Show, previously at Cora Lyn is on at Lardner Park near Warragul on the 7th of October, and although the show is on the Sunday the van's have been able to go onsite on the Friday, so it looks as though the Gippsland group have a ready made run at least for that month.
Hi Scott, I spoke to one of the organisers today, as I was not sure of the date and how it fitted in with Tathra. The Chrome Bumper Show is apparently always on the first Sunday in October, so in 2012 it will be Sunday Oct 7th

we are new to the forum and will be attending the Steam Rally for the first time. Our Franklin caravan is not registered yet so we are unable to bring her along this trip and was wondering if anyone can recommend alternative accommodation nearby. We will be staying in our modern homebuilt teardrop which is far from "vintage" see att pic.
