A couple of pics from the weekend. I hope everyone had a great weekend and that you all made it home safely in the rain! Sutcat - Great pics of the Model A and van. i have never seen Vintage vanners move so quick as when that drove in. Rollydog Tallisman wasn’t kidding about his long tow vehicle The Hunter and Munro I ensured the Munro was closest to the Surf in the water Ron and Silvie’s Jag and Arrow The Arrow arrives A mixed batch of British and American tow cars The Jag and Arrow seem suited for each other This was the dry before the storm on the way home. A few minutes later it was bucketing down.

G'day All, We would just like to thank Rollydog for organising the Mudjimba weekend. A great time was had by all who attended, the weather was kind to us , the venue was great and the pool proved to be popular. Always good to meet up with older members and also welcome new faces . Cheers Bob and Jacqui.

Dosse The walk back from the RSL was just so you could enjoy more of my french toast in the morning. You were a great official tast tester as I hadn't cooked that in 10 years and the others benefited from the extras I made on sunday morning. It was a great weekend for location / facilities and weather apart for the trip home plus catching up with fellow vintage vanners. Another good thing not mentioned was that some VV members who couldn't bring their vans dropped in to say hi over the weekend. Halps, Sutcat, Earlee, Di 1954 homemade, Jason and family and others. HALPSIES Have booked in for 5 weeks...the kids loved the place even if we didn't stay over night.
Thanks to all that said hello to me without my car or van. It was a great afternoon for us.
Ron's tour of the Arrow was delivered with the deft touch of a real estate agent...pointing out all the features etc etc It is better in the flesh.
Who could miss Dossie's big smile?
You did another great job RollyDog

Just wanted to say a huge thanks to everyone for a gr8 weekend, especially rod (rollydog) for organising it, what a great park - relaxing (even with our kids there !!!) clean and very convenient to the shops and beach, not to mention the RSL, where we won a brekky vouchure at the sunrise bakery, without a doubt the loveliest bakery we've been to in a while- YUM !!!!! it was great to catch up with everyone, cant get over what a fantastic bunch of people you all are, thanks for making us feel so welcome !!!!!! and special thanks to rod for helping us out with the brake problem with our car, picking up the parts, it was much appreciated !!! cheers guys, cant wait to do it all again- troy & nicole (trub73)

Definately a place to consider returning to in the future. Out of the way, so much quieter than last year , lots more trees, shaded pool, beach and coffee shops a few hundred metres away and a country style RSL within Dosse's walking range. Halps- Have fun over your 5 weeks there. I'll definately have a week up there in the near future. Troy- No problems about getting the parts as it was good chance to have a chat and as we found at Repco there are Vintage van owners everywhere. Bob and Jacquie - great to catch up again and thanks for showing me the pictures of the Olympic factory day etc. It was good to see the park managers, Greg and Janine wandering about the vans for a closer look as once again they proved great hosts. Ron's Arrow is still up there for the caravan club meeting and probably getting many more looks than the modern van. Overall it was a great social weekend for all the Vintage vanners. Rollydog
