Globe to go behind my 34

Hi Simon, nice old Globe you've got there. If it has to match the high standard of the car then you've certainly got some work ahead of you. What a beauty!!

Is there any chance you could have a look on the front drawbar and see if there's a chassis number there somewhere? Will probably be a four digit number, starting 1xxx. It'll help us collect another number for our History section on the Globe Trotters.

What can i say another globetrotter with a FORD Hot Rod tow car. It just does not get better than that.

Because your car is more of a hotrod I think it could look a little funny having a tough as nails car with a original looking van behind it with 13x 5.5 holden rims with caps and white walls etc. If I were doing it I would do it the same paint design as the Globey I pictured with all the original stickers etc but replace the blue with the same purple as your ford. that way it will look like it belongs behind your tow car but will still pay homage to the Globetrotter heritage. Wheels would look best if they were the same as the Ford but might be an issue trying to get them small enough to fit in the Globey's wheelarch.

As far as a serial number if this is the same one as what was listed on ebay a little while ago it will have 603 on the coupling. For more info on Globetrotters have a look here.

The Globe is a nice choice of a van I reckon and I love the Rod towcar .

I'll just have to get a vehicle sometime soon, but it will be a bit toned down from yours, have to remember my age even if I feel 20 years younger ;D ;D
