Off the cover of the Cold Chisel album “Circus Animals” is this photo of what I think is a “Gypsy” caravan. Can anybody confirm that...or offer an alternative and suggest what year it was born. Cobber.

Nicely spotted Cobber! Could it be a Globe? Anyway, looks like a nice set up, I wonder if that was the band van for making of the album ............Yeh, probably not. I will have to track that one down on the most technologically advanced, superior audio medium - VINYL! Ever noticed how a CD scratches just as easy as a record - Hmmmm. I think I might havta ditch the cd player in the car and install a 12V turn table under the front seat, just like me dad had! Cheers, Gristy Long live the vinyl!

Tinnie, From time to time both the 12” vinyl and the CD appear on eBay, the LP usually goes for under $20 (I got mine for $2 at a boot sale) but now that the V V fraternity know about it the bidding will probably go up to around $60 . Humpty...I say without fear of contradiction, this is the best Cold Chisel album I have in my extensive vinyl collection ;D And now for the back cover, looking at the badge on the side... I don’t think it is a Gypsy.. well, I can see it better on the album than this scan shows it Much later ( December 2007) it was discovered that Gristy was spot on... this 'van is a "Globetrotter". Looks like 1958/59, maybe a Clipper (similar shape and trim) or a Greythorne?
