Hi Boxer0803, Likewise - welcome to the forum. Norm Reeman was a caravan salesman located in Surrey Hills, Victoria, who sold rebadged Franklins or possibly sold used vans with his nameplate on them. According to forum member Hughdeani: "Norm Reeman mainly sold Franklins, he was also in Malvern and his son Glen sold Franklins from Seaford and Dandenong." I'm thinking that because each "Norm Reeman van" had a separate serial number actually engraved on the nameplate that he possibly sold new vans rebadged with his name, but that is just a guess. You'll find some pics of a van with a Norm Reeman nameplate on it that I saw recently if you click here. As you will see Franklin1 and Hughdeani both identified it as a Franklin. So given the above, there's a good chance your van was built by Franklin. If you are able to post some photos on the forum somebody will probably be able to tell you a bit more about its origins. There are instructions on how to post photos in the 'Forum Guidelines & Helpful Hints' section. Franklin1 knows quite a lot about Franklin serial numbers so he can possibly tell you a bit just from the chassis number you've quoted. Don Ricardo

Norm Reeman badges do seem to appear only on Franklin-built caravans. The chassis number of 2239.6 would be from 1966, and made towards the end of that year.
"...slopes down front and back." makes me think it's a Caravelle model, which would fit in with the "about 16ft all up" comment.
cheers, Al.
