Hi all,
We have become VV’s purely by accident, as we were simply looking for a small cheap van for the occasional weekend away. Having said that, we are totally hooked with our new baby. ;D

We picked up our 13 foot Harris on Friday, which was a relatively easy job as even though she had not been on the road for more than 15 years all she needed was some air in the tyres and a new brake light globe.

Once home I gave her a quick rinse to get the dirt & dust off to see what was under the grime.
At this stage all we are looking to do with her is give her a good clean inside & out, reseal the hatch and maybe replace a window rubber or 2.

We will then enjoy her for a while before deciding on any work that we may undertake, however she appears to be structurally sound and in need of no major work, so anything we will need to do will mostly be preventative.

We can work out the old can opener, tea towel racks etc, but have absolutely no idea what these round chrome thingys would be - cup holder? candle holder? towel holder? ???

hi mafu, welcome to the forum!
Those rings are most likely hisnhers glass holders. You've got some great features in your van, ice chest, metho stove? fantastic cushions n curtains. Treat the curtains gently if you attempt a hand wash & they should be fine.

Yep you've got the right ideas, keep her under cover, just do the basics then get out n have some fun in her. Plenty of time to go looking for rot later after you've "bonded" to the van I say!

You are spot on smiles, they take a middy glass, - if you drink beer. All Olympic Riviera and Debonair have them fitted as standard.
Cheers boblor
