Sweet as,Angelisa. You might want to 'modify' the word after the year in your first line. We know what you meant it to be. Just a slip `o the finger tip. Some interior pics would be nice to see. cheers gordon

Hi. Lately i`ve noticed Pb is getting awfully stroppy to work with. Almost to the point of finding another site to load to/from. Used to be able to log in,u/l & done. Now i`ve literally got to navigate through my photos which for some reason or another have gone into default pages. cheers gordon

Hi Lisa, Wassamatta?! Isn't having the windows blown out of your Chesney by passing trucks exciting enough for you??!! You just couldn't help yourself, could you? One big trip in the Chesney and you're now addicted to old vans! It's good that you've given the chassis number. At least we now know what number series was being given in 1965. The Viscounts always got the 'A' series as far as I know, and the Ambassadors and Valiants got all sorts of other number series. It would be interesting to know whether your van has a timber frame or an aluminium one. Are there screws or rivets in the exterior cladding where it looks like it's been fixed to the frame? Viscount released the new 1965 model in May that year. The new one had a "dynamic twin flash" painted on the sides, so yours is the out-going model from early that year. So now you have a Chesney for you, and a Viscount for the young champion athlete, eh? cheers, Al. (aka millard1399 on the Classic forum. )

G'day Magicanelisa, Great news from the caravan repairman - "Well there's absolutely nothing wrong with it". That's just about the best news you could get, eh? Judging from the pic you posted of the inside of the van it certainly does seem to be in great nick! Sorry to hear you're having trouble with Photobucket. I presume you are copying and pasting the IMG code URL? Sorry to ask an obvious question, but I am just trying to figure out why it's not working for you. Sometimes the 'image moved' message comes up even if the address is correct. If you then refresh your browser the photo shows. Not sure why that is, but just so that you know it may not be you, just the software... Don Ricardo
