I have owned this Franklin since late 2006 and finally decided to tart it up a bit. Firstly - polish the badge... the badge looks good - why not try the tail light casings.. then.. why not take off some of the moldings and get rid of the ugly silastic the previous owner used over the first 42 years of his ownership... well may as well take out some of the windows as well... may as well do all the windows and repaint the van while I'm at it.. Was pleased to see why the roof never leaked - it has a quadruple fold and swage maybe replace the perspex windows using a RED DOG... not real keen on pink caravans so maybe i should copy reddo, and use my Fleet Colours ... same as L'il Bondy.earlee ;D ( still looking for a newspaper in a cupboard )

You know what earlee?...in the three years I've been studying Franklin caravans closely, yours is the only example of that badge I've seen. I'm amazed at how well it's come up with a bit of polish. I'd appreciate it if you could put the badge into a shopping bag, along with those tail lights, and place the bag next to your mailbox. I don't want to disturb you when I come up and STEAL IT!! And what a top class design on the roof cladding, eh?? Are you sure your van wasn't a one-off job for someone special? (...apart from yourself, that is... ) I'm JEALOUS!! Can't wait to see how it goes from here on (...actually, I can't wait to see what you use for a badge and lights after I've visited, nyuk nyuk! ;D ;D) cheers, Al.
