Hey A/T
In answer to your question........no its not the one from sydney but it came from nsw ......before you bought your dons ,you did ring the previous owner about it......but I already had it over the border The only thing we have done to the van, is replace the curtins as some one before us had wash them and they had shrunk F/F

wow ...
i remember that ... when mrs tanker gave me the final "thumbs up" to get a vv i was so keen to get one (before she changed her mind ) that i went thru about 12 pages (at that time) of posts in the "for sale " section ... and rang or PM or emailed every van that i liked that i thought might still be for sale ...
i really, really liked the look of that van .... it's a real beauty ... and has great lines ... i think that you had just beat me to it by about a week or so ... i think
.... i see from your earlier post that you will be at the mount .... we are keen to go... and hope to bring over the 150 Don as the 120 will not be ready for some time yet (altho i will only have a modern tow car ) ... we should know one way or another within a few weeks ... so if we can get there i really hope that i can get a look at it ... i would love to see it "in the flesh" ...
regards A|T

Love this van, I feel I could just step into it...must be my favourite... to date.
Admire the chevy too... I learnt to drive Melbourne to Bendigo about 15 years old in my dads Chevy 58 Biscayne. A big big big yank tank. When it got too decrepit for dad to repair, it went to a restorer in Melbourne. It was burgandy and cream with the four headlights. Cheers

G'day Heather
You can go to the top of the class .....as this van is your favourite
(All the people in the first photo are from Bendigo)
Next time I have the chev and roadhaven in Bendigo I will call around .....and you can check them out in the flesh
Also I can check out your home made bondy ....you use as a sewing room
I better not stop long as Colin might start painting a scene on the side of the roadhaven
While I have your attention ....I have deleted your 2nd account from the forum
Cheers Geoff

Thanks firefighter, would love to see van in person and people as well. You have my email address. Colin certainly could paint on the side of a van, he has painted on nearly everything else, incl beer bottles, plough discs, gold pan dishes, old pieces of machinery and even on canvas in frames. Mostly canvas now days. He once painted a scene on an annex, of an outback pub, drunks incl. Must find photo of this. Hope to see you soon. Thanks for deleting excess.
