Kev & Jackie, I have been scrolling through the messages that have appeared on this forum since I left for Morgan 3 weeks ago when I came across this one of yours So many posts deserve a reply or comment but I was so pleased to see your progress on the little van I just have to respond to it first. We fossils don’t move real fast you know Congratulations on the job so far, she’s looking good. I see you have retained the tall person foot annex in the side of the van Is that an enamel or water based paint on the outside ...did you have much trouble getting the old stuff off, looks like you got it to a smooth surface, well done. Regards, Cobber. And then a little bit later I found you previous post on the 29th April....you have been hard at it eh?

Thanks everyone for the words of encouragement. It means a lot as we know that YOU KNOW how much hard work it takes to strip a van and tart it up. We still have some work to go but at least it's putting stuff back in now instead of pulling stuff out. Cobber thanks mate. We painted the outside in acrylic. We put two coats of sealer on and then two coats of Solaguard. The inside is enamel. Tomorrow its time to put the doors back on inside and Jackies making up the curtains., I'm still waiting for the bloody window putty to dry out completely. It's been about 5 weeks so far and it's dry in some places and not others. I want it to dry so I can take it to be measured up for the cushions. Anyways thanks to all. Kev and Jackie
