Welcome Bea from a fellow South Aussie. (Murray Bridge). There are instructions on loading pictures somewhere on here... One of the Mods might post the link?
Cheers

Hi Kiviscount,
Welcome to the forum and congratulations on the purchase of your Viscount, and even bigger congratulations on deciding to take the van out and use it. That's what we like to see! You'll find towing is not that hard. The most important thing is to make sure that your van is safe to tow, is set up correctly on your vehicle, and is securely attached when you're about to take off. Maybe you can find somebody who is used to towing who can go through the procedure then take you out on the road to get some experience. Just take it quietly until you get the hang of it. The hardest bit is backing the van!
I see that you are on Kangaroo Island. A lot of us talk about taking our vans to KI, but you are already there! Some people are just lucky! (And I just worked out why your handle is KIviscount!)
If you want to post photos of your van, you need to upload them to an online photo website. Most of us use Photobucket and there are instructions on how to do it in the 'Forum Guidelines & Helpful Hints' section of the forum. However, you don't have to use Photobucket - you can post photos from Flickr and a few other websites using a similar procedure to the ones described for Photobucket.
If you can't figure it out, give us a yell and we'll try and help you out.
Don Ricardo

Good morning Vintage Vanners Thank you for the warm welcome. Brian and Don Ricardo - yes I have the photos on photobuckst and actually managed to upload them on to the Classic Caravans forum but couldn't do that here last night. Will give it a go this weekend. This is the link to my initial post on the Classic Caravans forum where I uploaded the photos for identification http://ditzygypsy.proboards.com/index.cg....ead=2202&page=1
Trying again to post image....

It would be awesome to organise a VV meet here, there are so many lovely places on the island and it is a beautiful island with lots of opportunities to'meet the local' wildlife. I would be happy to help get the info if there is enough interest? Of course I would have an ulterior motive.... You experts could check out Peace and tell me how to get the finer details done up!! Yes, I am hoping my landlord or a friend will find some time very soon to give me a few lessons on how to tow and reverse the caravan. Will keep you posted!!!

Hi Chris,
Just realised that I am still listed as living down in Sydney.
I must have forgotten to ask you to change it.
Can you please move me (on the map) as I am now situated in Caloundra, QLD
Thanks Di
