Gidday Everyone Well we had a great time over the long weekend. Had to come back half way through to pick up the daughter. She had worked part of the break About to head back up the range to Tinaroo dam and Her indoors says"How about some hot chips?" So off we go to the local shop and...... What do we spy parked about three doors up .... An Olympic!!!!!! Forget the chips ;D ;D ;D Pull up across from the van and start taking photos The owner and I get chatting Mate love your Olympic,, early model - can see the recessed power socket. I've got one that took two years to do up.That wouldn't be the one up at ...... would it? Errr yeahTold my parents to go and have a look cause it is so well restored. ;D ;D ;D ;D I live out Croydon. Croydon. You must have seen that Kennedy out there under a flea tree Yes?Yep and he won't sell it either.... Yeah I know - me and about half a dozen other blokes would love to do that one up. ;D ;D Took a few more photos Thanked him and off up the range to Kauri Bay. He has only slept in it once so far. Was redone by an English couple before he bought it. Hows that. Two Olympics in the same suburb. ;D ;D ;D Before you ask Boblor NO I didn't get the serial number cause it was too d@mn wet to be crawling under the" A" frame. Will go back soon and see if it still has it. Cheers Atog

Hi ATOG Good find, yes it is an old unit, when looking for the no on this one it is probably located back under the van on the 'A' frame and may have FG before the no. Ask the owner if he would like to be included on the register. Cheers boblor

Hi Bob Well as always regarding these vans you were right Up under the van I found this. No other markings just the "30". If that is to be believed she is a veerrrryy early van Which goes to reason considering the following bits. Over the entrance door and small door there is no moulded in lip/cover. The towel rail on the front is copper not stainless steel. The owner is happy to have you record it. Seems he is in need of a few shekels at the moment Not sure if he wants to sell it or not But is open to the idea. Cheers Atog
