Greetings from Woodbridge in Tasmania! My wife and I have a vintage van in very original condition and I hope I can follow Jim's instructions for posting photos using photobucket so here goes: These are three exterior images of our 1964 (we were told) Crusader caravan. I will post interior images later, but the whole van is very original.

Hi Jennison and Leigh, thanks for your comments. Interior shots will follow once I have tidied van after last trip (!). Crusaders were, and to the best of my knowledge, still are made in New Zealand. If you look on Tradingpost.co.nz and search in caravans for Crusader you will usually find some examples. We particularly like the large picture windows at either end. It is 10 foot but with single beds at each end and the large windows it feels very roomy for the two of us. We think ours was used for a long period under cover as a spare room. Certainly the underneath still has very clean white painted floor boards showing.
We hope to bring it over to the northern island for the first time to Victoria later in the year, possibly August and do a bit of touring before storing it and taking a road trip (sans van) to W.A.
Cheers, Warwick.

Hey Crusader- I love your van - i think of all vv these types are my favourite.
There is a great looking Crusader on Trading Post (was on Ebay but didnt sell) which I would buy in an instant - but its in Darwin. Apart from Perth there is not place further from me.
Do you know the weight of these crusaders. Whats your tow car? I have also seen a 14 foot one for sale on Ebay a while back which looked like the 10 footer but overweight - still pretty sweet.
Looking forward to the interior shots.
