Here is another Vintage Caravan brand for somebody to find tucked away in a shed.
LLL (3 L) Caravan made by R & J Linay.
This 4 page Brochure sold on ebay October 2011
It was described as
“Vintage late 1930's R & J Linay caravan brochure for the Linay Land Liner. R & J Linay were situated at 402 – 406 Chapel St Sth Yarra and were makers of the LLL caravan”.
Not easy to read the 16 features listed but two of interest are:-
# 4 which states “Pressed board heat and cold resisting walls and roof” which indicates it was made with Masonite.
# 5 “Hollow Roof” which to me suggests only the roof was double skinned.
